PORTOBELO. PANAMA Located at the south end of Central America, Panama is considered one of the most important and influential isthmus of the world. Crossed entirely from North to South by its famous canal, it's territory is formed by lowlands, prairies and hills. The seasons vary from the north to the south of the country, influenced by either the Caribbean or the Pacific. Since it is a narrow strip of land between two oceans, the Atlantic to the north and the Pacific to the south, it's climate is tropical and extremely wet. Coastal temperatures are warm and hot all year round, dropping a few degrees further inland.
