RIVALS IN THE REEF

Off the coast of Jordan, under the crystalline water, not too deep, coral reefs fill the seabed with colour. Following the individual stories of the reef´s small inhabitants, we can learn a great deal about this underwater world.

Some animals crouch between the rocks. Others walk majestically in search of prey. Whether defending their territory or wishing to remain unseen, all creatures spend their day-to-day lives in a privileged surrounding. In this place, the kingdom has two kings, the rivality between them it´s feels in the whole reef.

The coral shapes that decorate the Gulf of Aqaba are among the richest of on our planet, sustaining a variety of marine flora and fauna.

“Rivals in the reef” is a tour of this corner of the Red Sea that explores the vast variety of coral and life revolving around the reef.
