Following the individual stories of the reef´s small inhabitants, we can learn a great deal about this underwater world. Some animals crouch between the rocks. Others walk majestically in search of prey. Whether defending their territory or wishing to remain unseen, all creatures spend their day-to-day lives in a privileged surrounding. The coral shapes that decorate the Gulf of Aqaba are among the richest of on our planet, sustaining a variety of marine flora and fauna. “Coral Deserts” is a tour of this corner of the Red Sea that explores the vast variety of coral and life revolving around the reef. The rough and desert terrain of Jordan´s lands contrast with the colour and the wealth of it´s sub aquatic landscapes.
